Monumental Music, delivered an unsigned showcase with a difference at Independent, Sunderland recently. With funding from the Sir James Knott Trust, the free event on December 7th titled 'Feedback', took place in the presence of a panel of local music industry professionals who provided genuine feedback and advice on how an artist/band can move forward within the industry.

This was all done in an interactive style while the audience was present and each of the 8 bands then received a fully mastered CD of their performance along with a set of professional photographs. Stephen Gilbert, co-ordinator said; "The event was a huge success and everyone had a great day. The selection process was a bit of a headache as we'd been inundated with bands wanting to play. We settled on a great line up of young bands and a panel of experts who were all really looking forward to the event. Audience participation no doubt played a big part and we'll have an electric atmosphere.
