Room3recording StudioRoom3recording is a privately owned professional multi-track Recording studio based within the Bunker building. The studio is owned and managed by recording engineer Neil Bassett, formerly drummer in XL Recording artists The Golden Virgins.

As a member of The Golden Virgins, Neil has toured the UK three times, played in front of huge festival crowds at Glastonbury, Leeds/Reading and T-In-The-Park, and recorded sessions for XFM and BBC1's John Peel and Steve Lamacq. He currently plays drums in Former Cell Mates, who regularly tour Europe and have recently released an album on recording label Newest Industry.

In the year and a half that Room3Recording has been open, Neil has engineered and recorded sessions for such bands as The Futureheads, Former Cell Mates, The Anglo Form, Monty Casino and A Thousand lies.

Highlights of the past year and a half include :

The Futureheads: Recording demo's for their 3rd Album ‘This Is Not The World’. The album itself was recorded in Spain and reached number 17 in the UK album Charts.

Former Cell Mates: Recorded their 2nd album at Room3. It was released this year and has since had songs played on BBC Radio 1 and received a score of 8/10 in New Musical Express and a song from the album was featured on the cover mounted CD of this month's (February 09) Rock Sound magazine.

The Anglo Form: Their demo, recorded at Room3Recording, was chosen as demo of the month in the February 09 edition of NARC Magazine.
